Donations for Non-Profit Organizations

Mayway donates overstocked and near-expiration product to qualified local, national, and international non-profit organizations and community projects. We also discount products for qualified organizations.

The general guidelines for qualification are a 170(b)(1)(A) tax ID status, serving patients in need with little or no ability to pay for herbs, having acupuncturists, herbalists and/or medical professionals who are volunteer and a budget which does not already include sufficient funds for herbs. Our Donations Committee evaluates requests for donations on a case-by-case basis.

How to Apply for Donations

Requests can be submitted using our online form below. Once a request is received potential recipients will be informed by phone or email of its status. If approved, we will provide a current list of items available for donation. You are welcome to call to confirm that your request was received and to check on its status.

Disaster Relief

While we proudly support Acupuncturists Without Borders (AWB) year-round, we realize that individual practitioners and clinics may organize relief efforts within their own communities when the need arises. If you are a practitioner who is organizing relief efforts in your community and would like donations of some basic formulas, please contact us and we will consider your request irrespective of your non-profit status.

Eligibility

The general guidelines for qualification are that the applying practitioner must have a current CAB or NCCAOM license and carry malpractice insurance. The clinic or event must be intended to serve patients in a disaster situation who are first responders or those with little or no ability to pay for services, and having acupuncturists, herbalists and/or medical professionals who are volunteers. The applicant will provide Mayway with a summary and photos of the event for Mayway’s use if selected. Requests can be submitted using the form below.
