Herb ID Kits
Our premium student Herb ID Kits feature unparalleled quality and value. The kit contains approximately 350 herb samples supplied in a small re-sealable plastic bag and is accompanied by a flash card with a photo of the herb and pertinent information including Names, Functions, Properties, and Channel Tropism.
The kits are very student-friendly and come in twelve easy to use 3-ring binders, arranged by the categories of Bensky’s Materia Medica.

Kits can be purchased individually by students, or purchased en mass and distributed by the College for each academic term. When the College arranges for the purchase of 10 or more Herb ID Kits, the College will receive a discounted price, free shipping for the kits (within the 48 continuous states), and Mayway will furnish the teacher of the course a complimentary Kit for use in the classroom.

Complete sets of Herb ID Cards without herb samples are also available for sale, and are presented in a single three-ring binder.

Mayway supports the training of traditional Chinese medicine professionals by offering teachers of Oriental Medicine an on-going 10% discount on all Plum Flower® teapills, tablets, teas, extract powders and Plum Flower® Premier Quality herbs, as well as all Min Shan® teapills and other GMP brands we distribute.
Herb teachers should also take a look at our student Herb ID Kit, which is available to assist students in identifying and learning the actions and energetics of single herbs. The Kit includes approximately 350 herbs from each major herb category. If your school orders 10 or more kits for distribution to your herb students, we will send you a Kit to use in class, free of charge.

Eligibility:
For teachers of Oriental medicine to be eligible for this discount, s/he must be currently teaching at a degree-granting institution with nationally recognized accreditation or candidacy for accreditation. The teacher must be listed on the college’s website or in the college’s school catalog.
