Fraudulent TCM in the Market
Mayway's manufacturing partner Lanzhou Foci Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. has released a statement regarding fraudulent claims of manufacturing of teapills and tablets.
Due to government recommendations to limit large gatherings of people, we are canceling our Spring Open House. The 2 CEU class on Coronavirus: Modern Research from Traditional Chinese Medicine with Michael McCulloch will still take place from 11-1 as a webinar only class. Mayway's Response to "Dietary Supplement Sold in City Found to Have High Levels of Lead and Mercury" Article
We have received emails in reference to the news brief regarding Emperor’s Teapills (Tian Wang Bu Xin Dan) distributed in the New York area containing extremely high concentrations of Lead and Mercury. The product in question is not genuine Min Shan® Brand Emperor’s Teapills (Tian Wang Bu Xin Dan) nor is it distributed by Mayway.

NY Attorney General Supplement Investigation
In the news recently was an article involving dietary supplements that has attracted a lot of attention. The New York Attorney General issued cease-and-desist letters to four national retail chains, demanding that they provide information on how they verify the ingredients in certain herbal supplements.
Mayway Debuts New Bamboo Pharmacy Line
We introduced our new Bamboo Pharmacy line at the San Francisco Green Festival at Fort Mason on November 14-16 to warm reception and praise. In addition to a beautiful retail display, we offered complimentary acupressure lessons and ear seed treatments for basic conditions including stress, sleep, immunity, and digestion.
Yunnan Baiyao Discontinued
There have been recent news reports surrounding Yunnan Baiyao (aka Yunnan Pai Yao). Reports include injuries related to its use, potential contamination, and undeclared ingredients. Mayway has decided to discontinue the sale of Yunnan Baiyao in oral form for internal use until which time the quality and safety have been assured.
