Customized Field Trips
EAM Instructors can diversify their lesson plans by incorporating a field trip to Mayway! Students will get a behind-the-scenes peek at the herbal industry side of TCM in a fun, educational atmosphere.
- Meet the Mayway team & tour our historic building.
- Learn about the 50+ year history of Mayway and the evolution of herbal products.
- Watch our Herbal Dispensary create custom prescriptions of whole herbs and extract powders for patients across the country.
- End with a lecture on the herb industry in China, manufacturing processes, and quality control for our pills, tablets, and extract powders to round out the student education.
In-Person or Virtual Field Trips
The in-person tour is designed for a 2-hour experience, but can be customized or modified to fit your class requirements. We can even add an Herbal Showdown herb identification game where students can win prizes!
Unable to join in-person? A virtual presentation brings our classroom to you. Our presentation can be tailored to your classroom needs including adding or removing herb industry topics to benefit your students' level of knowledge, and to fit the time allowed for your lecture.
