Are Patients Suffering in Silence?

As 2020 is finally nearing an end, and likely one of the most challenging years most of us have ever experienced. Here at Mayway, we are in awe to hear so many inspiring stories about practitioners modifying their practices and developing new treatment strategies to help their patients in these extraordinary times. Thank you so much for sharing them with us!

Suffering Patient

For some, clinics have returned to more normal rhythms, while others are working with patients via telemedicine and herbal practices. For those who are seeing folks in their clinics, they may have noticed that some patients have not returned as quickly and are preferring to remain close to home until there is more certainty about where the virus is headed and when it is safe to resume normal activities. Of course, in some parts of the country, people are mandated to stay at home and businesses are unable to reopen just yet. Add to that childcare, navigating online learning for kids, and it may seem nearly impossible to schedule healthcare and other supportive services.

Are your patients suffering in silence? Maybe it is a good time to reach out to them with a friendly phone call, email message or a handwritten note. You may have elderly patients who are feeling isolated or others who may be at risk, or in difficult circumstances that may need your help. They will appreciate that you took the time to check-in. People may be struggling with the flu, a cold, allergies – even things that ordinarily would be minor might seem overwhelming right now. Some may have noticed chronic conditions have been exacerbated by prolonged lack of treatment. Many are dealing with enormous stress, fear and sleep challenges. Most, if not all these conditions could be diagnosed and potentially treated with herbs remotely.

And what about your colleagues? Why not send them a care package to let them know you are thinking of them? With all we have experienced in 2020, doesn’t everyone need some Xiao Yao Wan or Curing Pills? How about Serene Spirit or Jade Windscreen to keep them well too?

Wondering how to get these wonderful herbs to your patients or colleagues? We can quickly drop ship pills, tablets, and extract formulas directly to them with no additional fee! Do you prefer writing custom prescriptions? Our convenient Dispensary allows you to create and save custom formulas from scratch, or modify our prescription templates to suit your patient's needs. Have you seen our new formulas developed this year? Wuhan Tonify Wei Qi and Hubei Sha Shen Mai Dong Tang are still 15% off until 12/31/20 with the code NEW15.

We CAN do this. Together we WILL strengthen our communities and emerge from these difficult times as better practitioners with so much gratitude for each other. Let’s bid farewell to 2020, stay safe and end the year strong. Let’s celebrate our resilience and move forward together into 2021 with confidence and purpose.

As always, we are with you and here to support you. Peace and joy to all!
